This committee plans our workshop programs for the year. They select topics and recruit speakers to present on ideas of interest to our members. They welcome suggestions from members for workshop topics. The committee makes the arrangements, including securing the space and arranging for refreshments, procuring any materials or equipment needed by the speakers and notifying the Communication Committee about the details of the event. This committee’s goal is to attract and retain members for the Chapter through helping to develop chapter benefits and publicizing the benefits to HR Professionals throughout NYS agencies. If you are interested in joining this committee or have any suggestions, please contact Linda Bowen.
This committee solicits candidates for Board positions. They send biographies of candidates to all members, distribute and collect the ballots, tally the results and provide them to the President of the Chapter. The Election Committee usually consists of the Chapter President, President Elect, and Immediate Past President.

The Finance Committee oversees financial matters of the Chapter and proposes an annual budget for review and adoption by the Board. This committee is headed by the elected Treasurer.

The Auditing Committee audits the Treasurer's accounts at fiscal year-end and prepares a report for the Board. This committee is separate from the Finance Committee and serves as a check and balance for oversight of Chapter funds.
